Hi, I’m Jacob Manzanares

I’m a woodworker in the desert of California. The summer are hot, the winters are cold but almost every day, the sun is out. I could not think of a better place to practice my craft.

I officially starter Manzanares Woodworking in 2025, but have been making furniture and cabinets for the 10 years.

How it starter

It started with friends and friends of friends wanting simple projects done, then my work became popular in my local community, and my pieces became more complex. eventually I took some of those designs and brought them online. it became poplar and in 2025 I became a full time woodworker.

Early on I was building chair with recycled climbing ropes. Being a climber myself (and renting a home) my garage became and storage for friends old and retired ropes. I wanted to give these ropes a new life so I turned them into chairs and stools.
